Your Role as a Course Rep

Fundamentally your role as a Course Rep is to represent the students on your course to Solent University and ensure that their voices are heard. You will consult with them to identify any issues they are facing or views to feedback or raise with the university.

Key Tasks

• Consult with students for feedback
• Identify any issues they are facing
• Raise feedback to the university
• Keep your peers informed
• Be visible and contactable to students

Key Meetings

• Course Committee Meetings (2 a Year)
• Course Review Meetings (1 a Year)
• School Rep Forums (2+ a Year)
• Students’ Union Forums (1+ a Year)
