What are SU Elections and why do we do them?
We have students across campus ensuring that all the big decisions made at Solent University are in the best interests of the student body, and one of them could be YOU!
The Students’ Union exists to make sure that students have a voice and can influence decision making at university. By joining together and having your voices heard, we can build the student experience that you want, and elections are where you can do this
Elections are where you, Solent students, decide who will represent you during your time in higher education, championing your voice within the university, Students' Union and the wider community.
Nominations and voting are now closed for our By-Elections (volunteer positions) for 2023/24, but our Solent SU Elections – where we you could run to be a full-time (paid) Sabbatical Officer or Part-Time (volunteer) Officer will be opening in Spring 2024. More information will be shared soon, but if you have questions in the meantime, please email elections@solent.ac.uk.
