School Rep Business, Law and Society

Caitlin is the School Representative for Business, Law and Society. She is responsible for promoting her school and serving as a liaison between the School, the University and the Students' Union, while also acting as the face of all other Course Reps in their relevant School.

Caitlin Steege is the School Representative for Business, Law and Society for 2025/26.

My name is Caitlin, and I'm the Law, Business and Society Rep

I currently study Law and will graduate in 2028

I am originally from Brighton.

I wanted to give our schools a bigger public reach and provide more opportunities for extracurricular engagement to other students.

Representing Southampton Solent Students means showing that we're not a joke school, we are underdogs, and we have a huge advantage. It means showing my pride at being a Southampton Solent Uni student.

I'm really excited to start working on an events calendar of competitions and networking events for my cohorts.

My top tip for engaging with Solent Students’ Union is to not be afraid to ask if you can get stuck in! I've never had anyone turn me away, and trust me, I get overwhelmed! If I can do it, you definitely can!
