Aim of our Society
The Greek & Cypriot Society of Southampton Solent University aims to bring students from both Greece and Cyprus together for cultural, social and academic gatherings thus providing both support for students and an opportunity to network with fellow students.
The society aims to create a support network for students from Greece and Cyprus and at the same time promote different aspects of the culture, allowing us to share our rich culture and heritage with those around us. As a society, we will also be organising trips and other social activities for our members and try our best to give students the opportunity to meet and get to know each other.
We are here to help with any personal or academic issues you may have. We are more than happy to advise and inform potential, new or existing students for any troubles they may face. Our aim is to bring together all the Greek and Cypriots with events that we will be throwing, such as the Greek and Cypriot night parties and traditional gatherings during Christmas and Easter.
