The Football Business Society aims to maintain football business as a strong, independent and unique academic topic at Solent, after the merging of the course into a wider sport management course in 2021.
We aim:
To promote discussion around football business at an extra-curricular level
To provide an insight into the football industry with a range of guest speakers
To give students opportunities to network, not only meeting guests, but also students they wouldn’t cross paths with otherwise
To create links between year groups on the course already, and students from other courses, as each year group and course is currently quite isolated from others
