If you’re hoping to get ahead of the crowd and find a job, don’t miss the Opportunity Meets Talent Convention at St Mary’s stadium for Wednesday 8th February from 10am to 4pm. This is your chance to meet a various local employers hoping to recruit for graduate schemes, internships and apprenticeships.
There’ll be sessions run by experts from a range of industries, including travel, construction and finance, with the opportunity to benefit from help with CV writing, networking skills and interview preparation – all vital skills for when you’ve completed your studies. Carnival UK, NatWest PLC, Red Funnel, Garmin, Solent NHS Trust and Balfour Beatty PLC. will all be present on the day. A free 24 seat shuttle bus will run between St Mary’s and East Park Terrace at regular intervals, on a first come, first served basis. Attendance to the convention is free, although booking is essential and you must bring your student ID with you to gain entry.
