We told you about the National Ballot where Solent students voted on the following question at student council: 'Should NUS conduct and publish a risk assessment and equality impact assessment before finalising the NSS boycott / sabotage action?' 

 

And… we can now tell you that the result of this was YES. We are so happy with this result, as it means that National Union of Students is now mandated to conduct research on how this will impact us and other unions before taking further action. It is particularly important for small and specialist unions, like us, and will offer an idea of how an NSS boycott or sabotage would affect the overall experience that you have at Solent University."
