Manifesto

Candidate for the position of Department Rep - Business and Law

Hannah Carter

Change Solent, Change the World

My name is Hannah Carter, I am a second-year Business Management student looking to make improvements as Faculty Rep for Business, Law, and Digital Technologies.

Why should you vote for me?

After a hard year of online work, we're finally stepping back onto campus; for a good portion of us this will be a new experience. This year will be quite challenging, I will be among those getting used to the new environment. I am running for Faculty Rep because I will make a positive impact in these unfamiliar circumstances and will ensure that everyone is getting the most out of their time at Solent. I aim to progress the relationship between students and faculty members and shall find new and better ways to bring everyone together after such a long time apart.

How will I represent students in my role?

I'm eager to make changes this year by engaging with those around me and ensuring changes are implemented where they are necessary. I shall work hard alongside everyone to guarantee that all students within Business, Law, and Digital Technologies will get the most out of their university experience; ranging from representing the students within the university to even collaborating with other reps to organise social events. I will dedicate myself to listening to the queries of others to find the best course of action. Overall, my goal is to improve Solent for the better so that we can all move forward to change and advance the world around us.
