Let's keep our voices heard!

Having had this position last year, I achieved a lot on behalf of the students, and am committed to continuing my efforts to better this academic year for all students under these faculties! Thanks to my role last year, I successfully launched a Uni Mentoring Scheme, attended all su council meetings where I pitched in ideas and concerns on behalf of other students, I ensured all students received the help they needed, I held meetings with Vice-Chancellors to discuss student’s wider concerns regarding the post-pandemic teaching structure and won the Head of Student Education Officer’s award of 2021 for my contribution within the role.

I’d like to think that I am approachable and friendly, I also love meeting new people and having a laugh on and off campus at socials and activities.

I’m familiar with the Uni and its SU, and have connections with lots of staff members at Solent. So, when work needs doing, you can rely on me to get it done!

I think that everyone deserves to be heard, and promise to be that person to listen to your worries and concerns.

Provided I have the facilities and abilities to help you out, I will do everything in my power as your faculty rep to achieve what you need from the University.

I have loved being the faculty rep in my first year at Solent, and hope to be successful in getting the role again this year to make more differences around the Uni, resolve students’ concerns and worries, and meet lots of new people along the way!
