From a young age, men are often told to "be man enough", to hide their emotions, always stay strong, and suppress what they're truly feeling. But being "man enough" doesn't mean bottling things up. It means having the courage to open up, seek support, and take care of yourself physically and mentally.
Together, we will break down the stigma surrounding men's health and mental well-being. We want to create a safe, welcoming space for men at Southampton Solent University, where they can talk openly about their emotions, challenges, and experiences without fear of judgment.
It is common for men to feel pressure to live up to societal expectations, often while suppressing their own struggles. But #ManEnoughSolent is here to remind every man that it's okay to cry, to feel down, to seek help, and to be vulnerable. You are still man enough.
