About Us

The Solent Video Games Society aims to provide a casual and competitive space for gaming to all students.


SVG is partnered with NSE, an organization that provides students with a professional eSports-style environment with real prizes up for grabs.


Alongside this, for the people who are either new to gaming or just prefer a more casual setting in gaming; we have social and online meets every week which are available to our members. These meets are a great, safe space for people to make friends and interact with others interested in the same games.

Membership Tier Cost per year Description
SVG Society Membership Term 1 £2.50 This membership gives you access to all our weekly, in person meets and events, for the 1st semester
SVG Society Membership Term 2 £2.50 This membership gives you access to all our weekly, in person meets and events, for the for the 2nd semester
SVG Society Membership £5 This membership gives you access to all our weekly, in person meets and events, for the whole year

As the Solent Video Game Society, we have a Discord Server which is a safe space for everyone to communicate and come together to share their passion for gaming with others. We post regular news regarding everything from eSports to our weekly meets so please do make sure to join us!
