African Caribbean Society (ACS)

Our key aims are: 

• Create a sense of solidarity among African and Caribbean members of society at our university. 

• Empower each other to achieve and succeed greatness. 

• Maximise the number of opportunities offered to society members in order to  enhance development in cultural and professional 

• To celebrate, remember and share the beauty and hardships of our history. 

Our key objectives are: 

• To promote the ACS, drawing students from diverse backgrounds to take part in society activities.  

• Running networking events to promote involvement in each other’s businesses. 

• Creating a platform where social, cultural, educational and professional needs are met, discussed and encouraged. 

• Career and cultural orientated events.
