By parking outside the Solent University Library you could risk a fine by traffic wardens. Click here to find out more.
We understand it is a busy time for students at the moment, from handing in dissertations, cramming in some important revision for your exams as well as the exams themselves.
This is also the time of year where Mountbatten Library is used the most and, whilst it's important, this has caused an excessive amount of cars parked outside the library. Therefore, we would like to remind students of the risks of parking on double yellow lines:
If you get caught by traffic wardens, you could be charged a fixed penalty notice of up to £70.
Getting fined isn’t fun and can only add further stress to an already stressful time, which is why we are advising against driving to campus. And remember, if you are planning on staying late at the library or anywhere at Solent University, we run a Night Bus service that can take you home for free.
