Solent Students’ Union have been made aware of a number of fake events being created for Students’ Unions by organisations around the south coast. This is increasing, and there have been a number of cases at Students’ Unions in the south coast where students have turned up to certain events, which aren’t actually running.
The Students’ Union would like to remind you that all of the events we organise will be promoted on our official website and social media, and any events by external organisations will always have our logo on it, to confirm that it has been confirmed by us.
