Our new Sabb team is now all settled in. Naomi Fry has joined the Sabb team as VP Employability and Engagement, with Lewis Cleminson taking over the position of VP Education, and Hanna Head and Megan Maddex remaining in their roles as VP Welfare and Community and SU President.
Here’s a reminder of what each roles entails:
SU President: Megan Maddex
As President of the SU, Megan is the primary spokesperson for the Students’ Union and Chair of the Board of Trustees. She also has ultimate responsibility for all Union activities, providing political leadership to the organisation and coordinating the work of all elected Officers.
VP Education: Lewis Cleminson
Lewis will be responsible for representing student membership on all educational matters and a Trustee of the Students’ Union, as VP Education.
VP Employability and Engagement: Naomi Fry
Naomi’s role as VP Employability and Engagement involves the responsibility of representing student membership on all matters relating to employability and the development of opportunities to enhance students’ time at University. As a Sabbatical Officer she is also a Trustee of the Students’ Union.
VP Welfare and Community; Hanna Head
As VP Welfare and Community, Hanna will be responsible for representing student membership on all matters relating to student support, health, safety and wellbeing; representing students in the community, whilst also being a Trustee of the Students’ Union.
