A statement from your Elected Officers:
"We are all deeply saddened by the current situation involving Ukraine and Russia. Solent Students’ Union condemns violence of any kind, and we want to express our support for our Ukrainian and Russian students, as well as any other students in neighbouring countries who have been impacted. We would also like to acknowledge and support any of our students that have ever experienced conflict in any parts of the world.
As a Students’ Union, one of our top priorities is to ensure the wellbeing and welfare of all our students. We understand that many of our students have been affected and are looking for support during this time. We want our students to know that if they need support, Solent University is here to help and we encourage those affected to approach the Student Hub, who can be contacted here, for support."
