Salary Range: Grade 3.1: £18,228

Full Time: 35 hours a week 

FIXED TERM 1 Year initially

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Coordinator who will support our Marketing & Communications department with sales, advertising and communications activity.  

The successful candidate will ideally have some knowledge and experience in working within a sales and/or marketing environment, possess excellent communication and organisational skills and understand best practice in a client focussed service. They will have excellent interpersonal skills, a ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to prioritise a changing focus and workload. They will need to manage their time effectively, have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to maintain positive and constructive working relationships with students, clients, customers, officers, Managers and key University staff.

The successful candidate will initially be assigned to the Marketing & Communications department however there will be opportunities to contribute and develop skills in all areas of the Union activities and services depending upon our priorities.  Although they will primarily work on their own initiative, the successful candidate will be a proactive member of the team and will clearly demonstrate a commitment to our organisational values.
