I am a soical work student at Solent just doing what I am passionate about. 

Life and health sciences is a topic that I consider very important... we save lives right? I battled my way through mental health since I was a very young child. I went through things I never hope anyone else goes through and I went through those alone because I thought I shouldn't speak up and pass my problems onto someone else. I was infact wrong! My social worker as a child opened my eyes to a new way of life and in a sense saved my family and I. For that reason, I want to be that social worker and if not that social worker who helped then an even better one to get those individuals out of situations no one wants to be in. It is good to speak up and tell your closes friends or family or in my case a counsellor that something is bothering you. I want to stand up and represent not only mental health but also how important it is to look after your health and stay active ,for Solent because it is something I am so passionate about and I'm confident I can make Individuals understand that taking care of yourself, staying active and being the best version of you will open you up to so many different oppurtunites and everything will fall into place with it.
