Meet new people, learn new skills, explore technology, and be part of a friendly community. Open to all Solent students, regardless of course or experience.
Welcome to Solent Computing Society (CompSoc)! 💻🚀
CompSoc is a community for students who are interested in technology, computing, cyber security, artificial intelligence, networking, software development, and digital innovation.
You do not need to study a computing-related course to join. We welcome students from all courses, backgrounds, and experience levels. Whether you're an experienced programmer, a cyber security enthusiast, or simply curious about technology, you'll find a place here.
Throughout the year, we organise:
✅ Regular meetups and socials✅ Cyber Security, AI, and technology discussions✅ Workshops and skills sessions✅ Networking opportunities✅ Career and placement support✅ Guest speakers and industry insights✅ Collaborative projects and challenges
Our goal is to create a friendly and supportive environment where students can learn, share ideas, make new friends, and develop skills that will help them both during university and beyond.
Join us and be part of Solent's growing technology community!
