1.       We throw awesome Fresher’s fayre’s

Our Freshers Fayre is one of the biggest in the country and compasses the Solent Sports fair, Societies Fayre as well as all that Solent SU and Southampton City has to offer, from the Advice Service, Volunteering, clubs, restaurants and takeaways and charities.

2.       Not to mention the Fresher’s ball.

This years Freshers Ball took place at Oceana which features acts such as Danny Howard and Stormzy.

3.       We care about you! From our Advice Service, 1-1 support to the campaigns tailored specifically to you – you know we have your back.

The Student Advice Service is the place to access free, confidential and impartial advice from our Academic Caseworker on issues affecting your academic experience whilst at Solent.

4.       We run a free knight Bus service to ensure your safety

Located within the Student’s Union bar, the SU Kitchen is known for offering arguably the tastiest food on campus, all at student prices and all cooked to order by students for students, and has been awarded the U-Dine Awards for Best Bar Concept this year.

10.   We have over 60 societies for you to enjoy

12.   We run a Course Rep programme who are fundamental in improving your academic experience

14.   We have a variety of Volunteering programmes for you to get involved in…

17.   The SU Bar is called The Den, and serves some of the cheapest drinks in the City
