After the success of the Sabbatical Officer Elections a couple weeks ago, you are probably wondering (after all the candidate campaigning and voting within the week), what your Sabbatical Team actually do for you?
The Sabbatical Team are made up of four officers; President, VP Education, VP Employability and Engagement, and VP Welfare and Community. The students elected into these positions become the forefront of your representation throughout the year. This means if there is anything you are unhappy with, whether its facilities or housing or anything, your Sabbatical Officers will campaign hard for better standards. This may even mean lobbying with the University or external organisations to enhance your student experience.

Not only this, but if there is something you are passionate about and fancy running your own campaign, your Sabbatical Team will help guide you throughout and give you all the tips you need to get started. This may be something that is already an existing issue or something you are interested in.

Going to university is meant to be one of the best times of your life, so whether you're studying at the main campus, Warsash or Below Bar, you deserve the best experience during and after you graduate, so if there’s something out there getting you down, the Sabbatical Team is there to help pick you back up again and make your voice is heard.
