Volunteering is a great way to build new skills and gain experience. It can also help you stand out from other interviewees.

#3. It’s good for you

  • It can also help change your moods and emotions, like optimism or joy. This can strengthen the immune system.

#4. You learn a lot

  • By volunteering you can discover hidden capabilities that may change your view on your self-worth
  • By working with local non-profit organisations, you learn a lot about the operation of our Government
  • Volunteers also gain knowledge of local resources available to solve community needs.

You will foster empathy and self-efficacy by understanding community needs.

#6. Find Purpose

Volunteering can help you find purpose and expand your horizons for future career prospects.
