On the 4th of April, nine members of Sonar TV, the Student Television Station, travelled to Loughborough University to represent Solent Students' Union at the 2014 National Student Television conference. NaSTA is the largest representative body for Student Television Stations in the UK, providing resources and supports for all affiliated students.
This year's delegation ensured that Solent was involved in discussions about the future of Student Television at the highest level while learning from industry professionals about a wide variety of television topics.
This helps to demonstrate a rising ability for the Student Union to engage with the greater student community.
