We are delighted to announce Solent Students' Union has passed Investing in Diversity (IiD) Stage 2 as part of its commitment towards Equality and Diversity.
Solent Students’ Union is committed to ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) for all our stakeholders across all our activity. To demonstrate our commitment to continuous improvement in the area of EDI, we have been undertaking the Investing in Diversity Award through the National Centre for Diversity and have successfully passed stage 2 of the three stage process.
Investors in Diversity at Stage 2 aims to “transform practices and behaviours within the organisation by creating conditions for promoting greater communication, discussion and engagement with the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion”.
The final assessment for Investing in Diversity Standard will take place on Thursday 4 December with a IiD Auditor. This stage will decide if the Students’ Union meets the “Leaders in Diversity” criteria.
