Last night, we celebrated the work of amazing Southampton Solent University staff at the STAR Awards ceremony.
Professor Jane Longmore, Deputy Vice-Chancellor said: "The STAR Awards were a celebration of the talent, commitment and hard work of our staff. As one student commented, we have exceptional teachers at Solent who ‘breathe confidence’ into our students’ experience at the University. Thanks must also go to our students, who put so much effort into the hundreds of nominations, and to our sabbatical team in the Students’ Union who organised another memorable event."
The Solent Teaching and Recognition (STAR) Awards is a SU event to recognise and reward members of staff at Southampton Solent University that have made an outstanding contribution to teaching and the provision of support for students.
