At Solent SU, we are currently working with the National Centre for Diversity, having committed to the journey to achieve recognition under the Investors in Diversity (IID) standard.
The IID award is a nationally recognised Equality and Diversity accreditation standard. Organisations that sign up to the process of Investors in Diversity aim to find out as much as possible from its staff and partners how well they feel the organisation promotes equality, diversity and inclusion as part of its policies and practices.
A key part of the process is for our members (Solent students) to complete a questionnaire, to enable the appropriate people at the National Centre for Diversity to assess the organisation’s strengths and areas for development, and whether it meets the level required to be recognised as a fair, equal and inclusive organisation under the Investors in Diversity standard.
