The Solent Students’ Union AGM took place on Thursday 4th December in the SU bar. Students began voting on the approval for affiliations, last year’s minutes and the expenditure/income reports – all of which were approved.
The Solent Students’ Union AGM took place on Thursday 4th December in the SU bar. The AGM started when we reached a minimum 50 people hitting the quorum.
Students then began voting on the approval for affiliations, last year’s minutes and the expenditure/income reports – all of which were approved.
Your Sabbatical Officers took only one question which was just a clarification of how we govern before showing a video of their annual reports. There was then a short break and the AGM moved onto the motions. Unfortunately a lot weren’t discussed because the person who put the motion through wasn't there to propose it, however all that were discussed were debated, amended and with the exception of one or two they were passed.
AGM ended once we went below quorum and all other motions will now be carried to student council.
