If you have experienced a sexual assault or someone has done something of a sexual nature without your consent, help and support is available.
In the first instance, you might want to contact the Police immediately if you have been the victim of sexual offence. The Police can be reached on the following telephone numbers:
- 101 – non-emergencies
- 999 – emergencies

Ask for Angela
Solent University launched the Ask for Angela campaign during Fresher’s Week 2017. This safety awareness initiative, delivered in partnerships with Solent Students’ Union and Union Southampton and offers support to people across the city who may find themselves in a difficult or unwanted situation during a night out.
