ABOUT ME

I don't particularily like talking about myself, so I'll keep it short and sweet! I've finished my degree in International Tourism Management. I ran to be an officer because I wanted to be part of the change, being part of international programmes and an international student as well I saw what it is missing and what we can do better and I like to be there for the students in need

WHAT I'M WORKING ON

Enrich the student experience by increasing awareness of the opportunities offered by the universities.

Work with VP Welfare to expand the alumni network and provide seminars, internships and more resources for career advancement.

Collaborate with departments to provide more paying internships and resources for study so that students can follow their academic portfolios and develop their careers.

Encourage the university to make recordings of all lectures and seminars mandatory.

Publish a guide to “hidden fees” to push the university to be more transparent about the extra costs involved in different courses e.g., field trips and mandatory books.

Ensure students in their final year receive the support they need on their dissertation, especially in exceptional circumstances.

Continue the work around the academic representation system to assure a smooth and enhanced collaboration between the University and its students with a focus on inclusivity.

Increase the Students’ Union involvement regarding the academic work set by the university by facilitating a collaborative environment where the organisation can be part of the assignments briefing to create a proper communication channel.
