To keep your Students' Union independent and student-led, each year Solent students must vote for four full-time Sabbatical Officers.
Their role is to represent YOU and help enhance the student experience. They work from the Students' Union and are completely independent of the University. This means they can campaign on your behalf to help improve Solent for students. Sabbatical Officers are elected on their manifesto and these act as a guide for them to work on campaigns, represent students and enhance the student experience at Solent. They also represent you at local and national level working with and challenging when needed local authority and MP's.
You can read all about the roles and the process here: Nominations Guide 2018
Key dates you need to know:
Nominations close on Sunday 25th February at 4pm
