The STAR Awards are an opportunity for students to recognise and reward members of staff at Southampton Solent University that have made an outstanding contribution to teaching and the provision of support for students. Throughout February, students from across the University were able to nominate staff in the following categories: Outstanding Teaching, Outstanding Feedback, Excellent Academic Support, Best Supervisor, Supporting the Student Voice, Supporting Learning through Technology, Outstanding Employability and Excellent Service Support.

The ceremony will be taking place on Wednesday 21st May 2014, from 6pm at the Solent Conference Centre.

The keynote speaker for the event is Toni Pearce, NUS President.
