STAR Awards 2016 winners announced.

This Tuesday Solent SU hosted the annual STAR Awards presentation ceremony. Over 100 students and lecturers from all Schools and courses across the university came together to celebrate excellence in teaching, feedback and support as chosen by our members, the students of Southampton Solent University.

This Tuesday, Solent SU hosted the annual STAR Awards presentation ceremony.

Over 100 students and lecturers from all Schools and courses across the university came together to celebrate excellence in teaching, feedback and support as chosen by our members, the students of Southampton Solent University.

It was a tough selection process made no easier by an increase in the number of nominations we had over last year, but we are thrilled to present our winners and runners up for each of the categories:

Outstanding Teaching

3rd runner-up: Martin Buckley

2nd runner-up: Emma Pritchard and Tom Masters

Best Academic Supervisor

3rd runner-up: Dr Ramesh Marasini

2nd runner-up: Lynsey Melhuish
