Become a Sabb Officer at your SU!
Sabb Officers work from the Students' Union and are completely independent of the University. They are elected on their manifesto and are accountable to the student body, representing you and campaigning on your behalf to help enhance the student experience. Sabb Officers also represent students at a local and national level, working with and challenging local authorities and MPs.
The paid positions are as follows:
The leader of the pack! As SU President you'd be responsible for representing student membership on lots of issues affecting them throughout the University and be a spokesperson for the SU.
Vice President Education
In this role, you would be responsible for representing the student membership on all educational matters and be a Trustee of the Students’ Union.
Vice President Welfare and Community
The VP for Welfare and Community is responsible for representing student membership on all matters relating to student support, health, safety and wellbeing. You'd be representing students in the community and be a Trustee of the Students’ Union.
Vice President Employability and Engagement
The VP Employability and Engagement is responsible for representing student membership on all matters relating to employability and the development of opportunities to enhance students’ time at university and be a Trustee of the Students’ Union.
Nominations close on Sunday 25 February 2018, ready for elections to open on Monday 12 March 2018.
