Mental health is a constant issue, especially in an academic environment. 1 in 4 people suffer from some form of mental health condition and many students don’t recognise these feelings or understand how stigmatisation can affect others.

Support Services

The Student Advice Service is the place to access free, confidential and impartial advice from our Academic Caseworker on any issue affecting your student experience whilst at Solent.

Solent Mind provides a wide range of high quality services to support people with mental health problems across the Southern Region. 

Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity. They deliver training and support to equip students to bring about positive change on their campuses through campaigning and facilitating peer support programmes.
